GRAFF Wins 2016 Architizer A+ Jury Award

The manufacturer’s Dressage Free­-Standing Vanity to be honored in New York City in May

GRAFF® is honored to announce that it’s Dressage Free-Standing Vanity, designed by Nespoli and Novara Design Studio, has been selected as a jury winner in the Plumbing: Bath-Cabinetry category in the fourth annual Architizer A+ Awards competition. Architizer, the world’s largest online database of architecture, hosts the prestigious awards program each year to honor the best in architecture, spaces, and products across the globe. Product categories are evaluated by a jury of elite members of the architecture and design industry, who evaluate each product based on form, function, and innovation.

The judges recognized GRAFF’s Dressage Free-Standing Vanity as the winner in the Bath-Cabinetry category for its impeccable craftsmanship and unique style. Made from DuPont Corian®, the compact, free-standing vanity features canaletto walnut solid wood and is positioned on a minimalist, shaped base that conceals all plumbing. The Dressage Free-Standing Vanity stands out with its contemporary design, harmonious lines and traditional detailing. The vanity is a fully customizable slim unit that includes a complementing adjustable mirror, shelf and towel hook. The vanity is part of a full collection that includes, a tub, other furniture and accessories.

This year’s Architizer A+ Awards was judged by a global jury of over 300 industry leaders comprising equal parts architects, designers, cultural thought leaders and developers. The jury includes industry luminaries such as Steven Holl (Steven Holl Architects), Sou Fujimoto (Sou Fujimoto Architects), Winy Maas (MVRDV), Iwan Baan (photographer), Charles Adler (Kickstarter), Jared Della Valle (Alloy Development), John Edelman (Design Within Reach), and Roy Kim (Extell Development Company).

GRAFF, along with other category jury winners, will be celebrated at the A+Awards Gala on Thursday, May 12th, 2016, in New York City. In addition, the Dressage Free-Standing Vanity will be published in a book produced by Phaidon and Architizer, that will showcase all award recipients.
